Lenhart Tapes

One guy, 4 walkmans. Goat and sheep dialogues, muslim chanting, loops, e- bow instructions, turbo-folk anthems, language lessons, satanist rituals, heavy metal guitar for beginners...Probably the biggest cassette digger among Slovakian people in this part of Eastern Europe.
“Based in Serbia's second city of Novi Sad, Lenhart seems to exclusively use tape players to make his music. He stands behind a table with four old portable cassette players on it, and bursts into action, slamming cassettes in to them, bashing play and stop buttons, and generally looking like he's about to angrily smash everything in sight. Each 'song' basically consists of a looped 4/4 industrial rhythm (presumably on a homemade cassette of his own), while randomly chosen middle-eastern chants and other madness bump and grind deafeningly on top. People actually try to dance! Saxophones blast out of one cassette, while freeform white noises spills out the other. Lenhart grabs a walkman, yanks it open and starts smudging and scraping the tape itself, twisting the Walkmen's innards to craft new strange sounds. There's other sections that see him strangely manipulating the fast-forward function to locust- like effect. It's a grand, shocking and utterly confusing bit of culture jamming - like the city of Belgrade herself.” Quietus

E-P-P consider themselves a Travel Agency. They have been credited for making numerous travel arrangements throughout the years, and their main goal is simple - to create the perfect environment for tourists. E-P-P works as a duo consisting of Katie Woznicki and Vladimir Nikolić. They make short electronic jingles in the format of commercial adds with no products to sell, all with an analogue synth, a simple sampler and a rhythm machine.
They've released one EP titled “It's strictly commercial” for the independent label Listen Loudest (Slusaj Najglasnije) and were featured on the latest EurNoVision 2016 compillation, along with other experimental artists. Nowadays, they are preparing their rst album “Tourism without limits”.

Amanita Dodola

Katie Woznicki is a Belgrade based artist from Cleveland, Ohio, who has been an active part of the Serbian underground comix and music scene since 2007. With her solo musical project Amanita Dodola, she uses her uniquely expressive voice to sing her catchy, deeply intimate, and often bizarre pop songs, while she plays a polyphonic analogue synthesizer to the beat of a drum machine. She has played and performed throughout South-Eastern Europe, and is currently working on her first album.
